Wow. That sounds really cool. It must have been like seeing all these little flashlights going off -- similar to fireflies, I think. Reminds me of a long time ago when the family went to Cape Cod and we visited some of my parents' friends, who had summer homes down there. I fondly recall one evening when about 8 of us went out for a nice summer's evening stroll and all these fireflies were lighting up the path for us! :)

Yes, a firefly and a lightning bug are indeed the same thing...great memories...! :)

Way to go, man!!! :hilarious: I'm intrigued by the New Orleans chips bag--check out the Fleur-de-LIs design! I wonder if @Eric1955 also enjoys that brand; he's from down South and he's probably had them.

Yep, Zapp's are great chips. I like most all kettle-style chips, but, they are one of the better ones. I just wish there were some other flavor choices today. I've had there mesquite BBQ, Creole, and they even have a really tasty spicy crawfish flavor...! :hungry: :)

Not in the street, but in the backyard with fireflies, all the time.

Important note: my parents liked sitting out there late at night. They still do. We were never alone. :)

We were alone many times, but, also, our folks were out, especially on the weekends/Friday nights, sitting with the neighbors in lawn chairs in each others yards, enjoying adult beverages, as we ran around like Banshees...!!! :joyfull:
And then, we'd be up really early Saturday morning for our Little League Baseball games the next morning. Pop coached us all for the first year or two, and then sent us on our way...! :)

Sounds like you come from a family of fighters. Never stop fighting. :)
definitively.
My dad also had many scares.. some with myself included.
like an almost direct crash with a truck in a mountain road.. (car shut down due of battery diying in the middle of the returning side) and a truck full to the seams almost rammed us.. barely missed us (the truck lost a few tires and some kind of giant wrench that did hold the back tires in line)
a single propeller plane where the propeller failed mid flight and the guy took almost 15 minutes to restart the engine... (when the plane was almost stalling)

Id say we're REALLY LUCKY.

*edit*
Now that I think about it in our life.. Despite our illnesses.. we never had something really major tragic loss. Like a critical accident.
I suppose we are lucky on that aspect.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Yes, they're very popular here. I like the Crawtators.
Hey neighbor they are popular here where they are made in Louisiana of course too. We have access to all the flavors at all our grocery stores for the most part. They are all really good. If you have not tried them tbe Dill flavored ones are really good too if you can find those where yall are. :)
