Good thing you don't have to go to door county peninsula then. You have to deal with more than mosquitoes there. You have to deal other stuff like ticks. I wear pants and use spry in Door County. I know pants in June may sound odd, but it does help.

Door County Peninsula has a bunch of towns and villages, but it is rural. I can tell you there is a lot of woods in certain sections of Door County. You could even see Deer a state highway in Door County.
