Even after all these years (going back and forth from drafting table to 2 computer monitors), fortunately, the only eye issues I’ve had have been due to “short arm disease”…!!!!! :bookworm::hilarious:
It started in my early 40’s (about 20 years ago), and I started out with drug store cheaters at 1.00.
I’m now up to 2.5, but, looks like I’ll be needing to go to 2.75-3.00 soon.
I started in elementary school needing glasses. I'm farsighted, which apparently both of my grandmothers were/are too. Given my mother has terrible nearsightedness, I'm very fortunate that I just have needed readers for the majority of my life. Unfortunately, I can't get away with drugstore ones even though I need a very low power. My eyes require two different powers, so no drugstore readers for me. My eye doctor said using those will actually damage my eyes. But on the bright side, my distance and night vision are excellent. Just relating to older folks on "why can't they make the font bigger?!" 😂

Yea, my distance and night vision are still 20/20 as well, but, it is still frustrating to have to use the cheaters…although, I just wear them kinda’ on the end of my nose and look up or down as needed…!!!!! :bookworm:😅

I don't remember this particular skit, but what really caught my attention was the infamous NBC "Peacock" at the beginning! It's been forever since I saw that (in "living color")!! :p

I actually remember seeing that skit “live” back in the day and it was a hoot, and it’s even funnier now than it was then…!!!!! :hilarious:
And yes, the peacock brought back even more memories…!!! :)

I'm slowly turning into my father...

I saw that the Thomas Kinkade website was having a sale and I ordered three pieces of art for the basement. Because my brain goes "Oh cool, blank walls. We can put up art." Which is exactly how my father's brain works. 🙄
At Festival of the Arts at Epcot there is really cool items from the Kinkade collection.

My friends up North in NJ are jumping for joy . Buc-ee's is looking for a location(s) to be built off the NJ Turnpike . What TX , FL, AL, TN enjoys and the travelers that visit the massive locations in those states also enjoy will eventually move into the Garden State. It makes Wawa look like small potatoes. Beaver nuggets rule!
