How is he doing? I imagine he must be disappointed. I hope he will try again. (If a person does not pass the test, are the questions that he got wrong, revealed afterwards? I mean, if he knew which questions he got wrong, maybe he could focus some additional study to those.)

Oh yikes!! And he has worked so hard! When can he take the test again? It sounds like it should be easy for him to get a job, once he passes that test! Nurses are soooo amazing!!
The soonest he can take it again is early March. It’s pass or fail, they don’t tell you which you got wrong. However, it’s a responsive test, meaning the number of questions and type of questions change based on how you are doing. The first one shut off after 75 questions, the second after 145. That’s how we know he did better.

If you struggle in a certain area, you get more questions in that area. This recent test ended with a lot of questions about the OBGYN type stuff. I said of course - the one thing he would know nothing about! 🤣

Yikes. I never heard of responsive tests like that before. That just adds more stress to an already difficult exam. :(
