The brand is 4C, and it comes in a tall container with a plastic lid. I looked on the outside, and it didn't say to refrigerate or freeze. I also have a container of regular bread crumbs (Progresso) in the exact same type of container with plastic lid, and I just keep that in the kitchen cabinet for months.Put the rest of your panko in a freezer bag. I freeze mine all the time.
How is he doing? I imagine he must be disappointed. I hope he will try again. (If a person does not pass the test, are the questions that he got wrong, revealed afterwards? I mean, if he knew which questions he got wrong, maybe he could focus some additional study to those.)I wish. He did better this time but did not pass.
My father would approve of your mom's casserole rut -- he always said he loved "messy" meals with everything mixed into one dish!Don't get me wrong, my mom was a great cook. She just got stuck in the casserole rut.

My first thought was of the Chevy 409 c.i. engine from the late 50’s/early 60’s…!!!!!
Panko will go stale faster than regular bread crumbs. I make fresh bread crumbs which I freeze and then remove what I need, lightly dry in the oven for panko or toss dried ones into the food processor for fine crumbs. If freezer space is tight I'll vac seal them. That said commercial crumbs in that type of container supposedly will last for a while. The brand is 4C, and it comes in a tall container with a plastic lid. So I'm curious why you freeze your panko crumbs, as I've never used them in the past. (Do they go stale if you don't freeze them?)

Oh yikes!! And he has worked so hard! When can he take the test again? It sounds like it should be easy for him to get a job, once he passes that test! Nurses are soooo amazing!!A bunch of schools just got busted down here (like 2 days ago) for selling fake nursing credentials to almost 8,000 people including out of state. Many people arrested. There will be job openings…
It has changed to 3 to 6 inches of snow instead of 2 to 4 inches. It looks like snow will end around 5 in the morning tomorrow. The city I live in had its 3rd straight of snow. It was 1 inch. There is supposed to be 2 to 4 inches of snow tomorrow with it being 23 degrees outside as a high.
I guess the 4 straight days is happening due to being below the average amount of snow the city I live in is supposed to get already this year.
