We had just enough rain and fog to keep the usual suspects inside. I hope they have work tomorrow
I wouldn't count on that, as the (workday world) has tomorrow off, since the holiday fell on a Sunday.

It was raining off and on here, but it didn't stop them. (I think only if it was pouring and/or very cold, that those losers would they stay inside.) 🤦‍♀️

I don't mind them on the holiday up to a reasonable hour but when they set them off either insanely late or after the holiday is over is when I get upset

Are fireworks illegal in your state? I thought most states legalized fireworks already.
I think I know what @MinnieM123 is really referring to and is likely not the same thing as you are thinking of. I think @MinnieM123 and I live in local communities that have have the same fireworks laws despite us living in different states and that does include fireworks not being legal to sell.

I live in the state of Wisconsin and fireworks are allowed, but there is a catch. Not all the communities in the state allow normal citizens to shoot of fireworks. What I mean by normal citizens is people that are not hired by the county, city or state. You need a permit to shoot off fireworks in the city/ county that I live in. The catch is those permits for shooting off fireworks is only for people hire to shoot them such as lakeside 4th of July fireworks, park fireworks, or a special public event. That means in the city I live in, you can't shoot fireworks on your on property meaning can't shooting them off in backyard or front yard.

The city/county I live in does not allow stores to sell fireworks, but there are some stores in the state that does. The stores that sells fireworks, do it due to what the local laws are towards selling fireworks.

I read that playing classical music can help. There was an article here about a dog that literally died from firework-caused stress, and there was a vet who said that playing classical music for your pups actually de-stresses them. So you might try that?
Sure, but where would he go to pick up some classical music? BTW, it might work some types of melodic classical stuff certainly de-stresses me.
