Now for some food and stuff from Palo…
For apps, Carolyn had the heirloom tomato soup, and I had the seafood antipasti.
For mains we had the crusted chicken parm, veal saltimbocca, and lasagna. The lasagna was the best we’ve ever had in our lives, as was also echoed by the folks at the table next to us.
Forgive me, as I was a bit delirious at this point 🤪 :hilarious:, but, dessert for Carolyn was some sort of cake on biscotti, and mine was an amaretto chocolate thing that was so good I almost passed out…!!!!! :hilarious:
My amazing Bloody Mary pictured, as well. All was excellent…!!!!! :joyfull:
Again, this was a gift from our kiddos, but, if you ever get a chance to experience this on any DCL cruise, DO NOT PASS IT UP…!!!!!!! :joyfull:

veal saltimbocca
translation: baby cow jumps into your mouth!

When I had this at Palo, I informed our server that the cow did not jump, I had to use the fork.

Loved Palo, even more than the more expensive "better" Remy. Maybe because I'm partial to the Italian food vs. French. The lasagna is quite good, though "the best I've ever had" was within my own famiglia. Their sauces were wonderful, obviously cooked for a long time rather than the "cheat" of adding lots of sugar and salt as many restaurants do. Absolutely loved it. Enjoy and have a great time!

Our waiter described to us exactly how the lasagna and its contents were prepared.
Even Carolyn and I said “How much better can it be than any lasagna we’ve already ever had before (as we’ve had a lot)…?!”
All I can say is, it was just awesome-good, and more importantly, Carolyn loved it…!!!!!!! :joyfull: :inlove::happy:
