Sounds like it led a long life and with all your cooking a lot of use.

Yup at least once a day sometime more, way more so we're only sort of sad. It's fixable but the parts would be at least 125 and take at least an hour if not longer to fix not to mention a few little things that should be done if it's pulled out and opened up so maybe 3 hours and no telling what could go next

My aunt's dishwasher died while I was with her. We don't know how old it was.

Ha! "Only" 15 years old, you say. Dishwashers don't last nearly that long these days.
