A getaway to Canada specifically Toronto and Vancouver is wonderful. Both cities have many options of diverse food with both cities being a huge melting pot of cultures. That's one aspect of Canada that I love.
I'd go to Vancouver but Toronto has to much cold and snow for me to call it an escape. I have a brother in law that lives there. Since my wife was born in Canada both my daughters hold duel citizenship. I'll get one of them to take me along with them.

Is there anything in Guam besides the Navy?
The small time I spent in Guam from the air it looked like there was a runway and anyone that lived there had to crowd together in order to fit without falling off the island. To be fair though, there might be a lot more that I didn't see then what I did. So if anyone just got insulted, I apologize in advance. Actually, one of my friends in Vietnam was from Guam and he was the nicest and way a more patriotic guy than I was.

I’ve never visited Canada in the winter and have no desire too. One year our family was in a hotel in Vancouver in August. The sun set at 1130pm. The sun rose at 130am. Truly bizzare.

I cannot stand to be overheated in the winter or frozen in the summer. 🤣 I like it in the middle—just comfortable.
That reminds me of a family member that lived by the beach in Corona Del Mar CA adjacent to Newport Beach. The beach bungalow had no AC and just had portable heaters used different times of the year. It was a breath of fresh air to visit minus the high real estate costs and horrific commute to Los Angeles. The late Kobe Bryant who lived in the area didn’t have to deal with traffic when he played for the Lakers . He took frequent trips via helicopter to get to downtown LA.

Can't imagine not having passports.
I had one years ago and used it for travel to Bermuda, Ireland, Aruba, and Bonaire. When the passport finally expired, I renewed it, but never went on foreign travel at that point. So that passport has also expired. Not sure what the future holds for any international travel, , but for now, I have no immediate travel plans, even here in the U.S.

He loved it. Had to be at investment banking work though by 430am ( 730 am EDT to work with peers in east coast ), 5pm it would take almost 2 hours rush hour to get back home so left downtown LA at 7pm after rush hour while eat drink dinner 5-7 for traffic to lessen.
