We had an ice storm this morning. Which of course I had a doctor's appointment that I absolutely had to make this morning, so I had to go clean off my car.
I'm going back to the rule of if the car needs cleaning off, I don't leave.
Now it's sunny and the ice melted.

It's still snowing!
Went out at 12:30 and shoveled for quite a while. At that point, it was around 10 inches, so I wanted to get a jump on it before the potential sleet moved in later on. We may have a light mix up through 9 PM, or even later. Forecast has been shifting all day long, so really hard to tell what it will look like, even in the morning. If there is a flash freeze, that will mean ice everywhere in the AM. Other than all that, it's really nice to see it snowing all day.

So far 2-3 inches of VERY heavy snow, followed by rain. Not warm enough to melt the snodge (snow+sludge) though.

This doesn't look right without snow on palm trees.
I'm accustom to my younger brother's island before today in Animal Crossings: New Horzions. The trees had snow and snow on the ground on his island before today. His island now has no snow, but the ground is all brown instead of snow or green
.

The "official" total for my area was 10.7 inches. I never pay much attention to the official amount though--sure looked like a foot outside yesterday. It was really pretty by the way!
I shoveled for quite a while, and the guys across the street came over with their mini-tractor and removed a big section out in the front for us. As usual, we contacted the landlord to see when his (as usual, MIA, private plow guy) was coming by for the driveway -- the guy showed up at 8:00, last night!
Luckily, we didn't need to go anywhere yesterday anyway, and there was also a flash freeze late yesterday afternoon, into evening.

@Dead2009 , I read this cringe-worthy news the other day. Hoping your Target doesn't sign on to this newest delivery option. (I think it's enough that the workers deliver items to cars outside, but also picking up/delivering cups of coffee, etc., is a bit too much, IMO.)

@Dead2009 , I read this cringe-worthy news the other day. Hoping your Target doesn't sign on to this newest delivery option. (I think it's enough that the workers deliver items to cars outside, but also picking up/delivering cups of coffee, etc., is a bit too much, IMO.)

If it's a company wide change, then sadly my store will also have it. It just gives the people who were already lazy to begin with, an even bigger reason to be lazy. I hate to see it during Christmas because the Starbucks in my store tends to get kinda busy.
