Not a fan of moving mops
On my first time, I was more surprised by the insane amounts of sodas and sauces/salsas for stuff.Years ago my friend from Chile visited USA for the first time. She said the food options including cereal at Wal Mart was mind blowing.
FTFY.

And since we're all kindred winter spirits, I'd like to add to the joy above, that we're getting a lot of gorgeous snow (ours doesn't start until midnight) and it extends through at least midday Friday. Wonderful weather people said we'll get 8-12 inches!!
The soda aisle in my area supermarket got bigger over the years, name brands, local brand, ethnic brands ( Jarritos, Inca Cola, Haitian cola, Jamaican sodas, etc ). I like them all. I just can't stand the taste of Malta. On my first time, I was more surprised by the insane amounts of sodas and sauces/salsas for stuff.
Well if you get that much, post us a picture please. And you can keep that white stuff up there. After I got spoiled with warm temps today, I am done with winter.FTFY.

I was up at 4 AM and looked outside -- only 1/4 inch at that point. I think it probably started after 3 AM (as opposed to 12-2 AM, which was originally forecasted). It was fun to watch the flakes twinkling under the street lights. In a few hours, it's supposed to come down at the rate of 1-2 inches an hour. (Weather people holding off as to whether some will change over to sleet this afternoon.) There won't be as much vehicle traffic today anyway, because school vacation is this week, and a lot of parents also take off a week from work, to go on vacation with them.)Well if you get that much, post us a picture please. It's very limited here. We can get cocoa crispies, corn flakes, and cheerios, and not much else. Anything like fruitloops, reeses, cinnamon toast crunch, lucky charms, etc you have to order from an import store and they don't have everything, but better than nothing. I can't get chex here. You know how in the states you would have an entire aisle of nothing but Ceral? Here, there's like....two or three shelves on one panel in the aisle. I'll try to remember to take a picture when I go to the store.Cereal? Is cereal everywhere? Or just the bad kinds over here in the states?
Wasn't there supposed to be a massive freezing ice storm in the Northeast? Much ice on the car windows and black ice on the roads if happened.I was up at 4 AM and looked outside -- only 1/4 inch at that point. The Northeast is a big place -- right now, it's snow coming down at a rapid clip here in metro North. The sleet aspect may or may not arrive here this afternoon -- however, southern MA, Cape Cod and parts of RI and CT may get that, and lesser snow than we have up here. From northern MA up through NH, etc., there will be up to a foot of snow. So, it just depends on where you're located, where the snow and/or sleet line will move in.Wasn't there supposed to be a massive freezing ice storm in the Northeast? My kids were completely overwhelmed by Walmart the first time we took them to the US. Just a standard grocery store was overwhelming to them. It's probably at least twice the size of ours. Anything where the US has a whole aisle for something, like cereal, chips, soda, we have just a couple of panels. The Dutch apparently don't want much variety because it becomes too hard to choose. They prefer to only have a couple of kinds, none of which are exactly what they want, but will do, rather than have things to appeal to a variety of different people.Years ago my friend from Chile visited USA for the first time.
