So I had to get a new phone because mine keeps pooping out on me when I need it most. Like, it won't connect to the car for navigation, so I have no directions, or it gets super slow and it takes me 5 minutes and a reboot just to access my email to find out if my kid needs to go to school or not, right before he walks out the door. So my husband picks out a new one for me (I have NO idea what to look for) and I order it (It's pretty...it's blue! https://www.bol.com/nl/nl/p/xiaomi-poco-x3-128gb-cobalt-blauw/9300000012403235/?s2a=) and I order screen protectors, and a couple of cases, and the phone is supposed to come Monday, the cases tomorrow, and the screen protectors next week. But obviously, what I really need is the phone, and I work evenings, and I can't set the thing up myself, so I need the kids or my husband to help, but they are gone during the day. When I got the confirmation email, it said the phone could get here as early as Friday....great! Then I have the weekend to set it up when I have help. Today, I get emails for everything BUT the phone, that they are all being delivered today. So the one thing I NEED is the one thing NOT coming.
Also, I ordered some American stuff from this expat store.....poptarts for A, cereal for E, Cream soda and Rootbeer for everyone but my husband because he thinks it's nasty. But when the package came, the soda wasn't in there. I called, and someone had just called to say they had soda they hadn't ordered, so somehow my soda got delivered somewhere else.
They sent a replacement now, but I guess it's just not my lucky week with deliveries!
Also, I ordered some American stuff from this expat store.....poptarts for A, cereal for E, Cream soda and Rootbeer for everyone but my husband because he thinks it's nasty. But when the package came, the soda wasn't in there. I called, and someone had just called to say they had soda they hadn't ordered, so somehow my soda got delivered somewhere else.

My DD’s hubby’s grandfather used to drag race. When they first married, they would go see him. Her hubby also has done some. She sent me a video of one race. It was amazing as you said! They both have given it up now though.I’ve never been to a NASCAR race, but, I’ve been to a few sanctioned drag race events. The most memorable was at the “Smokin”Alamo Dragway in San Antonio back in the day. I think it was an AHRA event, and not NHRA…?
The whole day was a total and complete flippin’ BLAST, and my bud and I were in flippin’ heaven, but, then the top fuel final ended up bein’ between (legends at the time) “Big Daddy” Don Garlits and Shirley “Cha Cha” Muldowney. IIRC, she took him by about 2/100ths of a sec….the whole damn day was AMAZING…!!!!!

Cereal? Is cereal everywhere? Or just the bad kinds over here in the states?

From what I've heard from people on the other side of the pond and read it varies by country and even cities within some countries
It dropped like a rock!! I’ve gone from tee shirt to long sleeves. Not happy one little bit!Years ago my friend from Chile visited USA for the first time. She said the food options including cereal at Wal Mart was mind blowing.

And since we're all kindred winter spirits, I'd like to add to the joy above, that we're getting a lot of gorgeous snow (ours doesn't start until midnight) and it extends through at least midday Friday. Wonderful weather people said we'll get 8-12 inches!!
