People living in the county to our south had to leave work early. Kids went to school then they decided to do early release.
At least here they seem to be shutting tomorrow down now:joyfull: The worst of the storm is supposed to be overnight into the morning. My dh is going into work tonight and may have to stay there tomorrow edit at least he'll get a cot, blanket and pillow for his very socially distanced work area if that happens

We had a rental car recently that had that feature. It was unnerving, to say the least. Just strange that when stopped at a red light, for example, it sounded like the car went "dead" . . . our reaction was, will it start up again, when the light goes green?! :p

Both Sarah’s Volkswagen Tiguan and Megan and Daniel’s Volkswagen Atlas have that “feature”…makes me flinch almost every darn time…!!!!! :hilarious:

Yea, whenever I had a garage it was never used as storage. I even built a carport on my house to keep our second car under cover. Not only do you not have to scrape any ice but you don't have to clear all that snow off your vehicle before moving. Down here I don't worry quite so much about that. The snow is usually light and if it's freezing rain I'm not going to use my car anyway, but my first ten years down here I had a single car garage and my car was always in it. The biggest fear I have here is I have seen a lot of hail storms and saw outside cars pock marked from front to back. Didn't worry about that or tree limbs when it was inside the garage.

Hail damage was the reason I nicknamed my ‘96 Hyundai Accent “Lilly Dimples”…!!!!! :hilarious:
