All vehicles with that fuel saving device has a very obvious button someplace on the dash board where if you push it, it shuts that feature off and the car doesn't shut off at stoplights. They do default to that every time you start the car up on your own. The first thing I do with my car after I start it is push that button.

Being old school engines with carburetors it took more gas to start but with fuel injected engines that is no longer true. FYI

FYI, I have not heard of anyone having a problem with it starting back up again, electronic ignitions solved a lot of those problems. What bothers me is that on a really hot day the AC stops working while the car is off. I also notice that many of this stoplights around here, especially at the intersections of highly traveled streets can be red for over a minute and during that time it starts to heat up in the car. I guess it probably does the same thing with heat cooling down as well, but I haven't really noticed that probably because I always shut the button off now.

Same here. I went to the grocery store and surprisingly got everything I needed.

Though maybe that's because here we don't actually have any idea whether it will actually snow.
