I know your post was pointing out that it was ridiculous that you were given Taipei time for a reference. It was ridiculous.
Yet...
In case you care, Taipei is 12 hours ahead of your time in Maryland ( or my time in NJ)
So as I post this at 3:26pm....in Taipei it is 3:26am

I know I’ve shared this here before, but, today is the 45th anniversary of me splitting my left calcaneus bone open on the end of the diving board at the pool of the Ho Jo we were stayin’ at when we first moved back to Texas...Friday, August 13th 1976, and I was 13 at the time...the Orthopedist in the ER (and my follow-up doc) was in his 60’s and said he’d never seen, or even heard of, anything like it before...!!!!!!!
The pic below is not my cast (although there are pics somewhere around here), but, same thing, except my foot was pointed downward to keep my calcaneus together ‘cause I didn’t want them to operate and pin it. In retrospect, a very bad move...
If I woulda’ got it pinned, I woulda’ spent a lot less time in much smaller casts. Instead, I spent the first 2.5 months of my freshman year in an unfamiliar HS cruchin’ around in that giant thing and stubbing my left toes on everything in sight, before I finally got into a smaller cast...!!!!!

I am happy to report that WE HAVE WATER!! We got a new and bigger pump, pipes, wire, etc. Our water pressure is great. Cost $3100 and totally worth it!!
Ours was 39 years old. Most usually last 20 so ours did pretty well.

I suggest celebrating with Basin and wine

Do you think renting a charter plane is tax free? Plane is delayed for who knows how long. From boarding to getting ready to take off, the plane got a crack in the windshield.
