I doubt that would fall within the guidelines. (I don't think any for hire services are covered.)Do you think renting a charter plane is tax free? Plane is delayed for who knows how long. From boarding to getting ready to take off, the plane got a crack in the windshield.
Also, but just as an fyi -- Vehicles, boats, gas, alcohol, and (dining out in restaurants) are NOT tax exempt.
The cap on tax free (other) purchases is $2,500.
(Interesting tidbit -- many snowblowers are sold on tax-free weekend, as people buy them in anticipation of the winter ahead.)
