I worry about my grandma for the same reason. She's 82 and lives alone. At least she's technologically capable. Woman has two iPads, can work Zoom, and has an iPhone 12. I also got her to get an Apple watch and enabled the fall detection on that, so now we don't have to worry so much about that. Her neighbors are also really great about checking in on her and we're 45 minutes away.
He has great neighbors also. They will shovel for him and do check on him.

Thanks, Figgy...!!! :)
Yep, that’s the current worry right now...not so much iced branches fallin’ on power lines, but, the power lines themselves gettin’ so weighed down with ice.
Still haven’t lost power, but, this next round could possibly do it...everything crossed, that we can cross anyway...!!! ;)
Crossing my fingers for your electric, and a sprinkle of Pixie dust your way, too.

My dh is mean or James is nuts. James went out to start the car wearing shorts and a Tshirt:eek: I'm going with James is nuts;)
I think kids that age just run at a different temperature. DD ran outside to start the car last night in her dance wear. (Read bare midriff). Although she did throw a jacket on, not zipped of course. When she came back in, I had to ask her to please, at least put on sweat pants before she leaves. Got the of course answer, with a side of eye roll.
