OK, enough depressing stuff for the day. I promise!
It's good that your company's management was looking out for everyone's safety. (As for the employee, it's baffling how someone who received written and verbal warnings still ignored them. Strangely, it sounds like she wanted to lose her job.)
The Queen knighted him. It's Sir Sean Connery. He outlived Roger Moore.Ah yes .
That's
Dodger
Tax Dodger .
And now for something completely different...
In an effort to point out just exactly how evil aging can be, how many can identify just who is in this picture.

No special prize for guessing correctly.
You're not noticing that he is using a cane and has someone by his side basically stabilizing him as he walks. I'm not feeling that there is anything wrong with that, but it is hard to imagine with the physicality that he was always depicted with in the movies. There was a worse picture of him that I didn't use because it was just so depressing for me. I don't have any relationship with him except that everyday I get a little older and a dreading that time should I live that long. I am aware that other then in my imagination that's whats ahead and I was never in the physical condition he was in all his life. It's just plain scary. I guess it is just the residue for turning 72 the other day.Yet, older men can be quite distinguished. (He's just not wearing the most flattering outfit. Throw a tuxedo on the man, and I'll bet he's quite good looking.)

LOL we have one like this in the next town over, and it always cracks me up!
Actually, it doesn't tick me off because in spite of whatever image I project at this time in my life, I am very seldom angry. I takes a lot to tip me to the half empty status. I've been that way all my life. To me tomorrow was always going to be a better day. To have lost that ability to see things that way now makes my head hurt. Yes, I am a curmudgeon born from living and experiences coupled with remembering, but I am not without a heart and a soul and usually hope for a better future. It seems like the fact that I have made 45 trips (most from Vermont) to WDW, One trip to Anaheim to visit Disneyland/Universal and took time to go to Disneyland Paris while in France. That is a sign of a man that got older without really aging. I even went to WDW and Universal last year when my back was so messed up that I had to rent a scooter to get around. When my best experience in life was linked with Family and WDW 36 years ago, I can't be all bad.Well, none of us can stay young forever. In his case, he may not still have the physical abilities he had when he was a big star, but I'll bet he has many other positive things going for him, even at this age.
I tend to be a glass half full kind of person, and I'm sure that ticks you off!!![]()

Listen I may be a tad taller then the rest of you and my bark is gray, but some of us have to work for a living.
Yeah I hate those things. They stick out like a sore thumb.
My bad .The Queen knighted him. It's Sir Sean Connery. He outlived Roger Moore.
Wow...she must be really bad to get fired over it!! Sad that it came to that! What was she doing....licking door handles?Coworker got canned this mornin’. Continually violated office Covid protocol. Was reprimanded many times and written up at least twice. They called us all down to the parking garage to make the announcement.
She was with the firm for about 6 years. I rarely worked directly with her and haven’t since this all started.
She was supposed to have a big wedding in June(?) that was cancelled and seems to have gone (according to others) progressively a bit more off the rails since.
Not exactly sure of the details, but, the firm wouldn’t have taken this action lightly. They, apparently, gave her every reasonable opportunity to change course.
Oh well, one less stupid person in my general proximity.
