It's not strange at all as it was worded the same way it was for WoM..

It was the same for TT 1.0 too. Just odd because TT 2.0 was a clear shift from a corporate showcase focus to presenting a brand that people can go out and buy a car from today. Up until yesterday TT 3.0 kept the Chevy brand as the focus. You can’t go out and buy a GM branded vehicle, and the GM brand itself is weaker now than it was in 1982 or 1999 considering how many divisions have been killed since then

It used to be that when you went to go buy a Chevy that you did see GM branding. More so if you went to a dealership that sold multiple marques. Even some parts in the car itself like the seatbelt buckle might be GM branded.

That GM as its own public facing brand was pretty much killed off. People aren’t confused that GM owns different brands, it’s that GM largely stopped being a brand and has not as yet been revived.
Well, maybe they want to revive it. Is there a problem with that?

I want to know more about the references and concept here - but I agree that some excitement and hope is warranted here. I have to imagine if this is a success there is something learned from there. My fingers are crossed!
