Ah, the golden child. The Land has been relatively spared, proving that it is the perfect Pavillion and without flaw.

Maybe I am forgetting, but what does GM have to do with Universe of Energy? The farthest back I remember is Exxon for UoE.
Disney’s Primeval World was part of Ford’s pavilion, not GM. GM had a Futurama ride based on a similar attraction GM showcased at the 1939 fair. Most of the Universe of Energy Dinosaurs are clones of the dinosaurs seen in Disneyland Railroads Primeval world section which are originally from GM and Disney’s New York World Fair pavillon. That Pavillion is the original inspiration for the Peoplemover, World of Motion and Test Track.
And the Land pavilion is the one place they removed and IP and replaced it with a non-IP (the movie)Oh the stuff I've heard....
Before it was set to be demolished, Innoventions had a Big Hero 6 layover toyed around with. Mission Space was going to be rethemed to Guardians before they settled on the coaster and using UOE as the sacrificial lamb. Wonders of Life-Inside Out plans, but yall probably knew about this.

8 year old me rode this in 1964 and I still remember riding in actual cars (convertibles) and that clear tube that went outside the bldg at the start of the ride.Aha that’s right. But if I recall the ford pavillion was a source of inspiration for World of Motion right?
I mean, Imagination has a functional ride in it already, while Wonders is just sitting there rotting away. Why would they not add capacity?!I’m concerned if it does really well at the box office and they decide to shove it into Imagination once again (with Figment alongside of course). Let’s hope Wonders is indeed earmarked for a potential Inside Out attraction and plans to shove it in Imagination will remain dead. Of course Wonders makes the most sense for an Inside Out attraction but as well all know, Disney will never commit to anything that makes that much sense
Theoretically yes that makes the most sense. Thing is, it makes too much logical sense for them to do it so they won’t. Not saying Imagination will turn into an Inside Out attraction w Figment, just that I wouldn’t be surprisedI mean, Imagination has a functional ride in it already, while Wonders is just sitting there rotting away. He’s been a functional hostage for two decades.Figment is a protected species. He's safe and will remain safe.
He deserves to be locked up. He sabotages a tour of a scientific research facility so he can invite girls he just met back to his place and “fly [them] to the moon and back.”He’s been a functional hostage for two decades.
If that’s “safe,” I’d hate to see marked-for-destruction.

What a perv.
Gears going in a good way or the other way?Every new grain of sand I hear about this refresh thru the grapevine really gets my gears going.
I still have not heard a solid answer if Fun To Be Free is returning by the way. I keep asking and get nothing.
Really good way! I'm a World of Motion RIDE (hah) or die.Gears going in a good way or the other way?
If FTBF doesn’t return, they are missing a huge opportunity. Not that they care, but

Judging from the rest of the EPCOT re-do. I am betting the latter. Are the WoM connections substantive or is this hollow fan-service?
Unless GM demands that they be substantive, I presume you're right. It's on GM's dime, so they'd have to ask for true nostalgia. Not sure they'd want it, though. They probably want it to feel futuristic. "Cutting-edge company" and all that.Judging from the rest of the EPCOT re-do. I am betting the latter.
As futuristic as it can be while still only containing GM in-house infotainment options.Unless GM demands that they be substantive, I presume you're right.
