Tangled the Stageshow to DHS??

I thought that show was horrible. No desire to see that at WDW or anywhere else LOL. Each to their own I guess!

What didn't you like about? The only weak part in my mind was the new song that Jasmine sings.
I've seen it when the Genie and Jafar haven't been as good, but for the most part they show is always excellent. In my mind it's the only show that's better than Festival of the Lion King.
Do you dislike Finding Nemo the Musical as well?

Is that the one with the caged bird? I LOVE that song! But everything else in the show I dislike strongly. Aladdin isn't a movie that translates well into theater (especially Genie) imo.
Opinions! Sheesh. hehe
Must say I agree, we loved the show when we saw it, the genie always updating the jokes probably helps keep it fresh.

I am mixed on that. The BatB show could certainly use an update of sorts, but I wouldn't like to see it go.
Tangled was a great movie, though, and its wonderful soundtrack will absolutely help it become a big stage musical, not to mention the popularity of the characters, but why not add it to DHS without removing anything? It is not like they are lacking space and room for expansion in that park. And they could obviously use a few more attractions/shows in there.

Absolutely. I'm not a fan of Dole Whips. I am a fan of Monsters Inc Laugh Factory. I never went to the Adventurers Club. Everyone has their own deal.
Always go to monsters inc myself, we all got our own tastes!!

As someone who isn't a fan of Tangled (I thougnt PatF was a far better film that just was released at the worst possible time), I don't like the idea of a stage show. I know a lot of people liked the music in Tangled, I thought it was average at best. Seriously a line such as "it's like 7:15" is something I expect Justin Beiber to write, not a great composer. But as others have already said, that's just my opinion.
I actually agree to an extent! I preferred PATF and thought the music was brilliant but Tangled and Rapunzel herself are far more popular so Tangled probably has the better chance!
Maybe someday we'll see Tians's Place in a Park :lookaroun

Considering that Disney recently opened a new stage adaptation of Aladdin in Seattle, they're likely preparing it for a Broadway release, as they do for most of their stage shows that don't open in New York. Considering the Broadway-style Aladdin musical at DCA would probably be pretty similar to what would open at New York (according to that article, it'd even be the same team of writers/composers), they might be wanting to replace it. I wouldn't be surprised if the Broadway musical was just a longer version of the DCA one.

The lady that's in the motorized wheel chair is actually doing the singing parts for Jasmine. As for translating to the stage, I think they do an exceptional job. For me it's a step up from Finding Nemo The Musical because the songs are far more recognizeable and the Genie/Jafar/Iago improv makes it that much better.

What are you talking about?! Tangled made PATF look like crap in comparison. At least you get to see Rapunzel in human form during her whole movie. The music is also 100x better than PATF's music, screw Randy Newman! The box office and DVD Sale success of Tangled, plus its popularity obviously prove its superior.
Honestly though I love both movies but Tangled was 1,000,000x better.
