What a wasteland.
Thanks for the reminder, I had almost forgot that you don't like Muppets.

So you think that area's fantastic? Even with the wall Marni mentioned, is that balloon going to be visible from SWL? Maybe it can be painted to look like a death star or something. Not that I give a darn about either franchise, but that area's going to be a weird jumble of IPs. If TDO were smart, they'd re-use the Muppet area for GotG. Then you'd have a space adventure next to a space adventure (Star Wars). Still an odd couple, but at least the themes would somewhat match.
The Muppets are down for refurb this week, so it's more of a wasteland than usual. What a wasteland.
I did hear - but can't confirm - the ballon may be removed as part of an exterior MV refurb. So you think that area's fantastic? Even with the wall Marni mentioned, is that balloon going to be visible from SWL?.
WOW! That area always seemed so closed off but that's REALLY opening things up.

Permanent if it happens.Would this be temporarily or permanently?
It sounds like they're investing in the long-term nature of Muppets within the park. Eeeeeeeexcellent.Muppets courtyard will receive a rather grand walled "gateway" off of the route between ST and SWL.
I mean, I'm happy that Muppets seem to be staying and I think it's good to have another IP land to visit rather than it just being TS and SW, but if ST is staying and there will be a themed path between it and SWL, won't a giant Muppets wall in the middle look kind of...out of place?Muppets courtyard will receive a rather grand walled "gateway" off of the route between ST and SWL.
I love how it takes two cast members to say, "Sorry, the attraction is closed for refurbishment".
Path in between will be themed to New York, not Star Wars.I mean, I'm happy that Muppets seem to be staying and I think it's good to have another IP land to visit rather than it just being TS and SW, but if ST is staying and there will be a themed path between it and SWL, won't a giant Muppets wall in the middle look kind of...out of place?
Since I can't imagine MV playing on forever... is the MV Showbuilding large enough for a ride? I know it was Henson's last project and everything, but if a Muppet ride is ever seriously considered again, I wouldn't hesitate to dump MuppetVision for it.I did hear - but can't confirm - the ballon may be removed as part of an exterior MV refurb.

I'll take whatever we can keep of SOA! Might as well keep it for meet and greets or something.Too bad there wasn't room for a neutral water tower with mouse ears in this neutral area. Not quite New York, but it should be a rather classy 1930s-40s themed neutral area.
That's nice that they are going to keep the Hollywood theme/feel going. Should we expect a similar retheme of the Commissary Lane area too then leading into this area? Not quite New York, but it should be a rather classy 1930s-40s themed neutral area.
That I don't know. I'm not even sure there are further plans for that area. That's nice that they are going to keep the Hollywood theme/feel going. Should we expect a similar retheme of the Commissary Lane area too then leading into this area?
Keep it! Then in a few years I can sit there, squint my eyes, and almost convince myself I'm sitting in the Disney-MGM Studios like I wish I could! That I don't know. I'm not even sure there are further plans for that area.
