Star Wars themed land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios
I dont think we currently have any details beyond the press release. Is the planet created by the imagineers or is it from the new movies?
WWoHP got one new ride in each phase. I assume entertainment isn't included here. These are the E tickets.Only 2 ridesss...
Isn't the Disneyland Star Wars land going to be away from their Star Tours? So I would assume that Star Tours will remain the same
So glad for this news to be announced, but I can't help but feel a little slighted at only 2 attractions in the "largest themed land" ever!
New planet - at least one that is NOT in the movies. I assume it could be in books and stuff, though that is likely not the case either. Is the planet created by the imagineers or is it from the new movies?
Thank you. In the end, it's only good for everyone.Only fairy Dusters....this kind of competition is what Orlando needs. ..bring on Pixar Nintendo Kong Pandora and Star Wars
What does that have to do with the price of tea? How is that relevant? Who cares? Why would anyone want Universal to kill Disney or Disney to kill Universal? Universal and Disney being both successful helps the industry. Competition is good. The consumer benefits, Orlando benefits, the industry thrives with more to see and do, Disney and Universal both profit. So who here thinks this will kill Universal? Pack up shop. Go crying to Mom kind of thing?
Only 2 ridesss...
So? This is Disney. The leader.WWoHP got one new ride in each phase. I assume entertainment isn't included here. These are the E tickets.
Tomorrowland WDW phase two. 4 attractions.Other then Carsland I can't think of a Disney park expansion that got more then two new rides. I am not sure when people's exxpectations got raised to expect expansions with more then 2 new rides.
If anyone is getting killed, it's Sea WorldWhat does that have to do with the price of tea? How is that relevant? Who cares? Why would anyone want Universal to kill Disney or Disney to kill Universal? Universal and Disney being both successful helps the industry. Competition is good. The consumer benefits, Orlando benefits, the industry thrives with more to see and do, Disney and Universal both profit.
Enough with the "Who will win the War" junk.
Surely the mere mention of the name and some vague art is enough to have the fans drooling either way?
New planet - at least one that is NOT in the movies. I assume it could be in books and stuff, though that is likely not the case either.
Its a combination of Lucasfilm Industrial Lights and Magic, and Imagineers.
I think we have different definitions of "quite easily."Star Tours can be moved, quite easily in fact.
You may have a point there hahaIf anyone is getting killed, it's Sea World
I am bummed a tiny bit about a specific ip based land going into Disneyland itself where everything else is general and that its gonna close toontown.
seems to have worked.Just saying, it's usually a good sign for your theme parks presentation when you announce rides for your biggest franchise in your movies presentation...
