Even if they don't have sets, if it's like star tours meets omnimover or even just a typical dark ride. than that's one heck of an hourly capacity...

Yes and no. Depends on the exact ride system. I won't post definite until I can confirm.

I'd hope for both these attractions they've gone old school on THRC.

I know Pirates and mansion can take up 3,000. DHS needs an E-ticket with that capacity.

It's strange that they would fast track (relatively speaking) Disneyland, and be that far behind for DHS, when DHS is the park really in need of this.

I have a feeling it's due to the deal they have with the city. The contract probably has milestones written into it that they have to hit.

And it's such a simple, pleasing ride. A ride type that all parks could add at minimal cost. Hell, Epcot is almost perfectly set up for one in Future World.

And it's efficient. Imagine if an E-Ticket had that capacity!

Yeah I remember reading that despite its short lines, it gets more riders per day than any other ride at WDW. For all its calmness, it's still a cool ride system with a wonderful view at night especially.

Every guest in the MK most days could ride PeopleMover. I don't believe that is true of any other ride.

You forgot all the prep and clearing they had to do - and have virtually done - at DL before they could start building.

You make it sound like backstage at DL is desert.

Marni but would you not agree the work that DL has to do with the rework of the train the lake etc is much more then the prep work needed for HS?

Not saying they are not dragging their feet but DL build should take more time then HS in my opinion because of those issues. HS is just tare down existing buildings pad is or should be ready for new building on the old sites.
