Is there a video of that?
18-24 seems about right. I think they gave themselves the late 2024 window because if it by some chance they can't hit it, outside of Christmas it's the slow period. They can fall back and it should be ready for spring and summer which is when a water ride is most in demand.supposedly, around 18 months.
Yeah I’m interested to see what kind of construction walls/scrims will start going up tomorrow if any. Seems like they want to pretend like it was never there lolTwo hours later and it's already been scrubbed clean. Wish they moved this fast on other stuff
I mean, they’ve known it was closing for like two and a half yearsTwo hours later and it's already been scrubbed clean. Wish they moved this fast on other stuff

Also trying to be optimistic because they should get this ride back online ASAPOptimistic me hopes they start the transformation immediately (because it’ll be interesting to watch) but realistic me suspects it’ll be 6 months to a year before we see any visible exterior changes at all
First thing in the morning, I expect to see a worker with a chainsaw cutting down that twisted tree stump!Optimistic me hopes they start the transformation immediately (because it’ll be interesting to watch) but realistic me suspects it’ll be 6 months to a year before we see any visible exterior changes at all
I feel like that and the briar patch will be the first to go. I wonder if they plan on covering up the entire area so people don't take pictures of it and spread them online.First thing in the morning, I expect to see a worker with a chainsaw cutting down that twisted tree stump!

What I wanna know, is that the imagineers rode the ride today, to point things out. Is this their only ride they've taken? If so, beware, this is NOT being taken seriously. If it gets too gnarly maybe. But that thought has not been as scrimmed or hidden. If they do it will just be one big scrim they put across the walkway there to block the view altogether.
The Briars and the chickapin hll treet roots are half the conversion of the facade according to the concept model and art. I am still not sure what we are diving under sea level to. The levels of water were designed with that in mind for the going under the briar effect.

Probably do what they have done previously for rehab or refurb...Put the wall on the rocks so it blocks the view of the drop...I feel like that and the briar patch will be the first to go. I feel like they’ll put a pretty tall themed scrim up especially since it’ll be a long exterior refurb. Just my opinion but I feel like we’ll see a scrim with the concept art on it.Probably do what they have done previously for rehab or refurb...Put the wall on the rocks so it blocks the view of the drop...

Little side fact here..
You know what's sad...They will probably never air the first episode of the Disneyland TV show on Disney+..Because when Walt Talks about Fantasyland..He mentions Song of the south and then shows a segment from the film..
“Mommy mommy can we ride Tirana’s ride?”
”I’m sorry sweetie. The company didn’t think about the target demographic for the IP when they forgot about the ride system height requirement. Again.
