...In its third weekend. Over $300M worldwide and still going. I'd say it qualifies as a hit.
So it made $5.2 million domestically this week and not sure about Foreign totals for this week. So it's got about $10 mil to go in order to breakeven.
I have no doubt that you sir, stir your drinks clockwise.OK, you're quoting someone here ... who is it? Not split-personality fish farmer that likes dining on PattyMelts? How about the 'insider' who wasn't (but you had to admire he had game and took quite a while to flame out all on his own)? Can't be one of my pals because they've never even heard the word nor possess the ability to spell it. ... But I know someone else said that ... who?
More than that.. those numbers are the box office take - not what the studio take is (tho the theatre's take is pretty low). Gotta remember.. the box office number reporting is all about boasting.. not finances

I am the Spirit.
Lee is a.) Lee, a disgruntled ex-Imagineer; b.) Lee, the man who can belt out Disney showtunes better than anyone here; c.) Lee, the man standing between me and his wife; or d.) Lee, at least two out of the above.
Will Thinkwell be sub contracted at some point?
You forgot to add the catagory - e.) Lee, the hillbilly of the south.
I know in the past you have enjoyed referring to him as that, but i have to admit, i have met Lee in person and he sure did not come across as a hillbilly to me. He was a fine gentlemen, possessing a keen wit and far more intelligence then any hillbilly i have come across...but perhaps you know his back woods side better then i was privy too..?
Hey guys, I found this good article on CNN Travel website uploaded friday and it examines the cultural splits within traveling to Disney, and why travelers are divided along certain lines:

Yeah, it still has a way to go to break even but it will and turn a nice profit once all the ancillary stuff(home video, tv, merchandise) etc. but this is the way with most Disney Studio films. Huge bets and when they fail(John Carter) it costs the company alot of money. But that is the most studios are nowadays. Thank god for cable TV where we are in a golden age of dramas cause we sure aren't getting that any more at the movies.
