Now why is that so bad? Yes there could be other things, but really?

And the concrete looks great!!!

Looks like Nara Dreamland...would never know that was WDW.
:rolleyes::lol:

Let it grow in. It'll be fine.

I have to be honest, I'm not sure that I like all the natural greenery in TL. Just my opinion, though.
Natural? Yeah, I know. I hope they trim some of it back or make it more manicured.

Thanks for posting those Evan!!!

The plants look really nice in person...especially the ones under the sign!
Anytime! :D

Yeah, the Pylon Plants look good.

I was commenting on the overall picture. Not an attractive corner of WDW by any stretch of the imagination. Personally, I miss the waterfall.

Looks average to me.

I would prefer the water fall ONLY...The building it was attached to, though rich in nostalgia was an eye sore.

Again...Bigger fish to fry.

I personally am ecstatic that waterfall is gone. :sohappy: If a new water feature to replace it had been built, that would have been lovely, but to say that 30 year old grey, moldy waterfall was more visually stunning than the current tree lined plaza area is speaking, I think, out of nostalgia and not reality.

That`s pushing it a bit.

Just a little....

One tree a lined plaza does not make.

I know thats pushing it. Two old trees, two new trees and a new lone palm tree don't make it tree lined by any means, yes, but I was trying to keep my description short. (And give it some time to grow in; I think a year down the road just about all of us will be saying, "Y'know, these trees do look pretty good here...")

Regardless, I still stand by my opinion that this is a vast improvement over the waterfall/Skyway plaza that was there before.

I like it.

I think it provides nice counterpoint to all the concrete and hard edges in the area. Plus, tomorrowland needs all the shade it can get.

I would have liked a fountain also, but they could have just as easily covered the whole area in plain grey concrete and called it a day.

Now which would have been worse?

I will check it out when I get there in 5 weeks.:xmas:
