Trim the existing trees. Remove the two palms by SM. If possible, remove the AC Boxes on the arcade. Add lighting and strobes to SM.

That would make at least HALF of this refurb passable.

Also...Anyone remember that black strip of matter on the back (lagoon side) of SM? What happened to it?

The AC boxes look futuristic

Let's just hope something nice went inside. Because right now I don't see where the money was spent.

I had a thought about that...

That black strip seems to disappear and reappear, and it seems to me that it's in between a different set of ribs each time. Is it possible that this could be part of a painting process? Could they have been painting it all along?

As of tonight, it's still two-tan mountain. About half the lights were out so it looked dark and grody. Saw people coming out of the backstage exit doors, so at least something was going on in the inside.

Here's what I don't understand. Like everyone, I hated SSC and everything that went with it. The stage, the placement, the concept, everything. However there was one thing that I found fantastic and was a foreshadowing of things to come. It shows in the picture the TTN, Tomorrowland News Network! I thought this was a great idea, and in vein of the futuristic space port theme. The fake advertisements went great with old TTA spiel. Now the with the old spiel gone the themes seem to clash. I know I'm beating a dead horse, but seeing these advertisements give me hope of bringing back the old TTA spiel.

We know "IT'S A PLANTER". That is the point. It should be so much more. People pay a lot of money to travel to WDW and deserve more than "JUST A PLANTER" that can also be found in any grocery store parking lot.:brick:

Really? No wonder this board gets a lot of laughs. I find it funny how people have unrealistically high expectations, when they're told numerous times not to expect very much. They are in denial the entire time, and when the finished product comes almost everything is bitched about.

It's a planter, so what? It looks nice. It's not a fountain, deal.

Besides, if it had been a fountain, it would have only been a matter of time before the started about kids climbing in it and the stupid parents who do nothing to stop them.

Does anyone have like a before and after of the entrance from the TTA? I am struggling to remember what it looked like before.
