Doesn't look like FP return is digital, at least, not right now...

The AC boxes look futuristic
Let's just hope something nice went inside. Because right now I don't see where the money was spent.
If you are driving around industrial Miami among the lovely warehouses.:lookaroun They look horrid....

I had a thought about that...

That black strip seems to disappear and reappear, and it seems to me that it's in between a different set of ribs each time. Is it possible that this could be part of a painting process? Could they have been painting it all along?
I hope. What does that side look like?

As of tonight, it's still two-tan mountain. About half the lights were out so it looked dark and grody. Saw people coming out of the backstage exit doors, so at least something was going on in the inside.
Because they are gone? And installing new ones? Unrealistic optimism? Yes? :lookaroun:lol:

Hmmm....I don't see any water lines, drainage lines, or electrical sticking up in the middle anywhere. They wouldn't bury those things and then dig to find them later...and they can't run them into that area now that the walls are up.

I have a bad feeling this is just going to be a big planter. :(

I should trust my gut instinct more often!

We always hope for the world and get an island, but on this one I honestly set my expectations low, and I will say that I am pleasantly surprised.

I think the new plaza area looks beautiful. The swirls in the concrete....the new lighting and signage....the demolished skyway station....the bathroom building....and the green space - I love it.

Sure, it could be gold plated, or they could have torn SM down and replaced it with a new E-Ticket version, but I still think it looks nice. Especially considering the bucks they're about to spend on new FL.

I am glad you are enjoying the photos (I'll have more up today from yesterday, a handful of Space Mountain with a lot of Christmas).

Also, on one of our trips yesterday through Space Mountain, the lights were completely out and everything was fully testing. Pitch-black, finally! We tried for video the next time around, but I think everyone went home (it was 5pm). :)
