Soundstage 1 Behind Walls!

They could have just built Monstropolis with the door coaster, dark ride and laugh floor ...

I also have no idea why they didn't find a way to have the rebranding of the park take place back when they added TSMM and lost the MGM name [2008-2010]. 2009 was also the park's 20th. All of that timing just seems to make sense for a re-brand. But. Nope. This company misses so many opportunities.

That is been rumored for nine or 10 years now… I believe it is completely lost to the legend of blue sky…

Typical Disney.. An attraction that's "suffering" from low capacity is "fixed" by adding a third track instead of adding a new outstanding ride... Same goes for Soarin'.

To be fair, adding an additional attraction will only increase the attendance at the park and not necessarily do anything to help wait times at other rides.

On the other side of the coin, DHS is strongly rumored to be receiving several new attractions.

Exactly what are they developing? Its a wall.
Oh, I don't know, it's proof that there's something actually happening? There's no need to act like you are so above everyone, because you really aren't. A real insider doesn't brag about every little "story" he breaks as you did when you AND many others confirmed the third track (and then continue to point out that you broke it for months) and continue to put people down when they question what the walls are for.

The walls likely mean we'll be seeing some outside work, possibly beginning to work on the facade.

You are someone who knows a few people at DHS as that's the only place you've had any news or insight from. You have no journalistic integrity.

I mean seriously, you knock "lifestylers" all the time, but you're worse than them in the way you seek the attention and need to be credited on here.

Assuming this is all for the third track TSMM, I'll be curious to see what exactly the exterior facade work entails. Unless Disney decides to create another entrance/exit in and out of the building, this will basically be a way to dress up a showbuilding that's now almost entirely onstage.

Will it be a pretty new facade? Will we see new theming elements like the "Barrel of Monkeys" over by the ride's main entrance? Maybe they'll try and make it a bit more interesting, and carve out some space for a small shop or indoor M&G area, like they did on the Pixar Place side of the GMR showbuilding.

Should be interesting.

Don't forget that TS3 came out since TSMM was built so there's also a chance to add in some finer details with the new characters from that movie into the facade.

If they build the new one for fast pass only I would imagine a new line would be a smart thing to put in. You can remove the confusion.

Anyway I think this is a great idea the ride has crazy long lines and I don't think it will take as long to put in a third track as it would to build a new ride. My only question is why just one track , they should put in two.

This can bridge the gap till some of the new stuff that i'm sure they will announce this year gets built

Building a 3rd track is a good idea, as it will shorten the wait time. However, there is nothing else to do once you get out of line. The only reason that HSW is a full day park is because FP+ is tiered, and you know you're gonna wait in line for the other top tier rides.

Eventually, TDO needs to add enough rides so that FP+ doesn't need to be tiered. Don't really care if it's Carsland, Star Wars Land, or expansion of Pixar Place. Build 3-4 more E ticket rides.

I look at it this way, at least they are actually addressing a concern. No matter what your opinion of the ride, TSMM is the most popular ride at HS, it has the longest wait, and is also the ride that most people point to as a must do at HS, because everyone can ride it. Adding a third track in some fashion should help to enable everyone to get on the ride without having to wait over an hour. I would be willing to bet that in their surveys and research that the length of wait for TSMM is a top complaint of the park.
