Here's a pic from today showing a crane behind imagination. Looks like high construction maybe starting soon.
I don't see a picture.

Dang it Figment, I thought we told you you couldn't be in charge of construction.Maybe it's an imaginary crane.
I'm curious to what process they are making, seeing as this should be a "simple" project compared to recent construction projects.

I heard that to save on the budget, a lot of film will get reused in the new "Soarin' Somewhere", and was to include the Star Tours digital randomization system. New York, Grand Canyon, Germany, Egypt, Tatooine, France, London, Pandora, etc.

Sorry all! I was having troble trying to post from EPCOT earlier today and the pic didn't make it. Just the text. Here's the two pics that I have taken from the east side of world showcase/future world area near odyssey / test track area looking across at the land area.

It's kinda hard to make out on my pics but the X above imagination and land pavilions is the large crane that looks to be in the down position. Think of an arch with the crane base and top both on the ground with the middle still in the air. At least it looks that way to me. Keep in mind these pics where shot on an iPhone from all the way on the opposite side of EPCOT, near where test track is. Plus they are not not edited in any way.

Noticed yesterday as I was crossing over the bridge just outside the International Gateway that looking over to the right behind Imagination, steel is going vertical for the new hangar. Meant to take a pic - not sure why I didn't, but I'm back home in Maine, so someone else will have to pick up the slack. ;-)

wow had to go to go to google earth to get my bearings, as i thought Soarin' was more e/w instead of how it is situated, north/south. good catch

Disney construction time is slower than real time. So 1 Disney construction day equals about a week in real time.

That is crazy I never realized how much of soaring you could see, I have never seen that sight line, to work as hard as they say they did to blend TT they did very little here, but like I said I have never seen it
