I noticed on the Shanghai video that the movie appeared to end with a view of the Milky Way. Is that true of the Epcot version too?I still don't understand why they they move the ride back to the ground with the blue screen...
something that can't escape me is the idea that somehow they had to do it for liability where people might do stupid things when their feet hit the ground in the dark..

That doesn't sound good at all.Nope. After the fireworks over Spaceship Earth, the screen fades to blue as the carriages are lowered back to the floor level.

Just road it did not have that happen on my ride. That doesn't sound good at all.
Have they installed the digital projectors because the EPCOT version from the video seems dark in comparison to both the Shanghai and DCA versions?

Another thing, they should have left in the Shanghai scene in the US versions. That scene looked so futuristic-looking that it reminded me of the Coruscant chase sequence from Attack of the Clones!
I mean still show the EPCOT ending but fly over Shanghai before that. Just look at how similar Shanghai is to Corusant:But we would rather have....Is it Epcot that is shown last? If it is, I would rather have that scene.
No, the Milky Way being the "screensaver" of the Omnimax theater is part of Shanghai's story of the ride being an ancient mystical observatory. You see it on the ceilings of the queue and pre-show room too.I noticed on the Shanghai video that the movie appeared to end with a view of the Milky Way. Is that true of the Epcot version too?
