Since the promo Free Dining has expired, what will Disney have up it's sleeve for the next promo? Does anyone think Free Dining will be re-released in April/May like it always has?

Just curious...I'm already booked!

People do not understand anything as it is, you can't say you can have this, but not this...Can you imagine the extreme laziness and ignorance of people when it would come to that?

In theory it's a good idea but people just can't handle that.

great point. last august my husband and children witnessed a family of 4 screaming at a cast member in the ice cream parlor on main street. they ordered ice creams that were not a "snack" and were furious and walked out.

I try to stay away from the buffet meals. They just don't seem worth it to me. We do Chef Mickey's just because it's Chef Mickey's but I am past that now. We are going to be more strict of where we eat this trip.

I agree. we tried Boma's last august and were very disappointed. Before anyone thinks we are picky we are not! We are very adventurist in trying all foods from different cultures and countries. Maybe we hit a bad night but most of the food was barely warm and seemed to have been sitting a long time. Our fav of the week was a new one- Coral Reef. We are from Louisiana (seafood capital of the world) and the swordfish and mahi mahi there was wonderful.

boma I think is hit or miss depending on the menu they have because they seem to make it authentic, it is a place that is better for couples than a group that varies in age.

No, it's not...some people can just be lazy. If you know you are on the plan, you do your research ahead of time...like checking the guides to see which places are/aren't on the plan.

In regards to the quality of the food on the ddp....we have never had a problem...never. I have also never come across a server that wasn't doing their best to help us. Even in 07' when the tip was included (and included an appetizer...:slurp:), we still had great service. (We paid for it back then, too.)

Anyway, I lovvvvve planning our vacation just as much as going. I have a great spreadsheet that I use to keep me on track. My hubby likes to just wing it but when on the ddp, you can't just wing it. I like knowing that I have my fav food places on reserve for our family. Come 2/19 I will be making all of my ressies for our August trip. I can't wait. I hope the calendar comes out soon so I will know where I will be.

A bit off the topic but of the 2 credit dinners...which does everyone recommend and why? We will have 3 kids in tote with us.:animwink:

I don't want to read through 6 pages, so maybe someone else has already said what I am going to say, but...

There is an offer out which, if booked by Dec 31 (TODAY), you get 25-35 percent off your stay, and this offer runs through April 16. If you wait until tommorrow, the offer is still there, but the percent off drops to a lower percent (I can't remember what percent that would be, though). I was initially booked for 10 nights at Carribbean Beach, but I was able to upgrade to the Wilderness Lodge with this offer, for only $506 higher than what CBR was going to cost. I think I remember earlier this year, when I initially booked CBR, that it was going to be another $2000 more if I wanted to stay at the WL for the same amount of time. So basically, for a 10 night stay, with this offer, I am saving $1500.

If anyone thinks this offer would appeal to them, in order to get the maximum savings from it, you must call and book TODAY, as it expires after today.

The shows, that other point covers a show and the food is usually unlimited. We love the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, it is pure disney.
