Just signed. Much to my disappointment, when my family and I go this Thanksgiving, we will not be able to go to Liberty Tree. It was BOOKED!

Its said for me to think that the last time I went (almost 2 years ago), was the last time I will see the characters there.

Wow! Thats all I can say. What are they thinking?? Because to be quite honest, our last visit the food wasn't worth the cost..and subtract the character interaction I think you will see one empty restaurant. The only exception could be during free dining when those 'not in the know' didn't plan ahead and have to take whatever they can get. We signed the petition and have passed the link on to all our disney friends. This is always our favorite place to spend Christmas dinner.

Coming up on the End of Day three! Thank you so much to everyone who has signed the petition! We currently have 254 signatures. That's 50 signatures a day! If we can keep this momentum going we can accomplish our goal of 1000+ signatures in 17 days.

I would hope that this thread could remain on wdwmagic.com's first page to remain in the public eye. I've asked some friends of mine to sign the petition but many of them don't even know about this website. When they have to go through the history of the blogs they don't remain interested enough to sign. Please keep the petition out there!!! Don't stop at 1000. Let's get 10,000 or 100,000. Maybe because it's so close to Independence Day I'm ready to take on the tyranical leaders of Disney World who would make such a stupid decree concerning the only full service restaurant in Liberty Square. To Arms!!! It's Trenton, Lexington and Concord all over again! :sohappy:

I think a direct link to the petition on the main page would be awesome. I do however understand that Steve takes great pride in his site. By posting a petition on his main site Steve would no longer be the great neutral news reporter that he is. He would also open himself to a whole can of worms down the road. However, placing this as a sticky on this forum page could be just as effective.

I really don't understand this one. Of any character meal I have ever been to this one is my favorite. It fits so well and the character experience is one of the best and most relaxed. So glad we have reservations for September. I only wish we could have gotten it for the MNSSHP. :( This one is worth trying to save!

We could do a google search on Disney message boards and see how many message boards come up.

Some of the other Disney message boards that I post on are Talk Disney,DisneySites,a Disney Paris message board, another message board that I believe is a UK disney message boards. I post on an Ariel forum and 2 Bambi forums. One of the Bambi forums is really small, but hey every little bit helps.
