Rumor: Disney World Indiana Jones Show Closing To Make Room For Star Wars

Join me, together we can rule the galaxy.
So, thinking out loud, if Echo Lake goes Star Wars, do H&V and 50's survive? Guess H&V could go Star Wars character dining but 50's wouldn't fit.
Dexter's from EpI? I hated EpI but they could rework to give a diner sort of feel.

I really hope they don't make TOO MUCH of DHS into Star Wars. Don't get me wrong, it's a great IP, but I would prefer that the front of DHS, in particular, keep its character, as I think that is a tremendously atmospheric area and the part of DHS that really "works." They can do whatever they want to the backlot area, as far as I'm concerned. What a mess back there.

I agree with some of this, the main Hollywood Blvd. should be left alone with SW being a destination not a branch street or solely built around Echo Lake.

To me, the effective theme of DHS dissolves as you pass Idol/Indy, so bulldozing from that point back to LMA and Catastrophe Canyon wouldn't ruffle any of my feathers. Largely, I think from Pixar Place through Animation Courtyard, Hollywood Blvd, and Sunset Blvd should be left as is (though Animation Courtyard sometimes looks dated in appearance to me...).

And that's actually very believable. The new Lion King theater got finished very quickly, and Disney Springs appears to be moving along at a good clip.
I thought the explanation for the NFL slow construction was because of the scope and all the moving pieces, it was a capacity issue, and they were going to have to open and close attractions in a way that didn't compound the capacity problem. I also thought it was said somewhere around here that it was the location of the construction being in the middle of the park was another factor in the timetable. Although the areas in DHS which looks to be available (sounds dangerous, and AI) are in the middle of the park I think the capacity problem at MK won't be an issue so hopefully they can do more of a big scale project and not break it into pieces like it felt during the NFL project.

IMO - and this is strictly my opinion, not speculation as to what will happen - is to keep the old Hollywood theme there on Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard. The 1930s, Hollywood that never was and never will be. Add Roger Rabbit as well.

Star Wars gets that left third of the park from Echolake back towards backlot express & star tours.

LMA goes away along with backlot to work and you expand Pixar place.

Muppets stay exactly where they are. Streets of America stay as is.

Me too. My kids are still ed at me from last year's May 4th false rumor of an announcement. Never tell a 4 year old they are getting something they really want and then take it back...kinda like the fanboy community, they cry a lot and throw a fit;)

All the more reason why even popular blogs shouldn't be always believed.

When it's seems too good to believe, it usually is.

I tend to be pretty optimistic, but I just don't see DHS getting Cars Land and Star Wars Land and the Indiana Jones ride.
I know, because of all the rumors the last couple of years, it is going to be hard when we don't get everything we have heard "might " happen. I really want it all but I need to be excited for whatever we get.
