Love 'em, Hobbes! I have the kit you used for the we're here page. It turned out great! I especially love the Coronado Springs page, it's just beautiful!

The America page I did was from a kit called Fireworks from Katie Castillo. It has tons of cute fourth of July related stuff and was only $1.50. She has a blog under the name just so scrappy in case you're wondering.

Have been busy so not been able to scrap for a few days. Found some really cute free kits today so I got my first studios page done. It was a tagger sized kit but I managed to stitch squares of the paper together to make it bigger and the embellies were high enough res to enlarge. I think it turned out ok. I'm really excited because DH just let me have a splurge on buying some kits so I bought a huge bundle from Kellybell I love her stuff and I can't wait to go started :sohappy:

First 2 character pages from the studios. I have used the same kit for these consecutive pages which I wasn't sure about but now I think I quite like it. I also haven't written any journalling which I was fretting about a little but I guess sometimes the photos say it all and DD face when she met pluto just paints the whole story really :)

Tell me honestly can you read the title on the pluto page?

Great pages! I love the Pluto one, but of course Pluto is a favorite of mine. :sohappy: Personally, I think the pictures tell the whole story, then again I'm not one to ever journal so I'm probably not the right person to chime in on this one.

I can read the title just fine but it doesn't pop off the page. A font like that might be better used horizontally. I don't know. Regardless, the pages are great!

I can totally read the title! I love the new pages! I don't necessarily journal on every page either, especially if it's a character meet that pretty much tells the tale.

I can see what you mean about it not 'popping' Holly thats probably why I had my doubts. However I have moved on to my next set of pages now and I have decided that you can over fiddle so I am going to leave it as is. Sometimes I give myself such hard time over my pages and start to doubt myself - its hard work being a perfectionist :ROFLOL:

I feel you pain, Emma. I usually try not to overanalyze my pages too much. Once I'm done, I try to be done. :lol:

I find I'm my own worst critic.

I got another 2 pages done today :sohappy: These are going to slot in between my Hollyood Studios intro pages and the last 2 character pages that I did. I have added a little journalling about the character meet in general as a way to introduce the coming character pages. These are going to be my last pages in this colour scheme, my creative juices really were not flowing using this kit anymroe. Also my next layout will be the Honey I shrunk the kids playground and I want to use big bug embellishments and give it a garden feel.
