Possible Frontierland expansion

Actually, you can say never. As of right now, they plan on not developing the area, and certainly not for anything related to Frontierland. If that changes, then the answer at that time will no longer be never. In the meantime, it is.

This has nothing to do with Frontierland, and no sort of deductive reasoning suggests they will build anywhere near where you're describing. You're not fooling anyone. We should all -- especially you -- stop talking about it.

Pretty sure I am not trying to fool anyone. Just trying to understand how any of this has any logic to it. I will be shocked if the MK gets anything besides a sprucing up and maybe a minor attraction. With Epcot, DHS, and DAK getting the real investment for the forseeable future.

IMO.

I think the thing I would be most disappointed with is if the added yet ANOTHER Toy Story attraction. I think Toy Story has quite a bit already, and knowing more is planned for DHS makes me hope whatever is being considered for MK has nothing to do with it.

As someone who lives in Orlando, I can honestly say its hot hot hot nine months out of the year, and a busy park like MK could use another water ride. Of course, they could also use another indoor dark ride too.

To be fair it would be nice to have a relaxing water ride going past stories of Pecos Bill/Paul Bunyan/etc. They could even use the animated versions I would be fine with it ...

It's not often that a Billy Madison line is apropos.

It is clear from how NFL was designed along with the Tangled toilets that they do not want to build anything behind small world in the short term.

And .... While I rarely cite Jim Hill, he does have a piece on te Tangled Toilets and how they were supposed to be something else. m&G I think.

Also it's proper name is "Kingdom Krossing"

I'm glad someone mentioned that this was a reference to something, I was pretty close to taking it the wrong way.

All I mean is that there really, really, really is no plan to develop the plot behind Small World. Using the word "plot" even gives it more credit than it deserves. That area is just in no way pertinent to this conversation, and yet a number of posters insist on bringing it up. There's no reason to be talking about it, especially not in this thread or in News and Rumors.

Well there was some interesting artwork posted a year or so ago sans iasw building. Could have been fan generated or a trial balloon. Either way such things fuel rumors on rumor boards.

I've said all along the northern area is unlikely to be touched in this. The only logical plan is the expansion pad west of BTM, by using a dark ride it can easily be built around the BTM train sheds and at the same time it would restrict the views of the backstage infrastructure in that area. Once guests are indoors you could essentially build the attraction further out by diverting the queue line, much like Pirates is way back behind the train tracks in a massive show building. I can't see any other rides working in this area as there's just too much there already to hide. The back of Splash is an enormous cathedral sized shed.
