Pictures of Cakes from Disney World...

I can't believe I am going to admit to this but, my wedding cake cost $1,500 I thought that was too much. For $15,000 that cake better feed all of the Magic Kingdom!!!

My mom made our wedding cake. Actually, it was 5 cakes on tiers of different heights. She put a basket weave around the outside of each of them (cakes made from a box) and froze them about a month before the wedding. Thank goodness she made 2 of each of them (10 cakes!) because a couple of them had the frosting slip off as they thawed. It was August and very humid. We just decorated the cakes with fresh flowers.

They were the most beautiful cakes ever and tasted better than ANYTHING I could have ordered at a bakery. (The plastic tiers that she bought for $250 were the most expensive part of the cake!!!)

That is wonderful!!! If someone in my family had that talent I would have loved that as an option. It is really so sentimental if you think about it!!!

I'm not really a big fan of the Disney cakes. I normally pop over to Gooding's (or the Marble Slab for ice cream cakes) at Crossroads if I need one.

I believe that during the holidays, they sell small ginger bread houses at some of the resorts. That would make a cute gift. :)

Here is a picture of our anniversary cake from Cinderella's Royal Table. We ordered the chocolate slipper. It was on a small cake, made to look like a pillow. I believe it only cost about $13. I don't know how it tasted, we were too full to eat it.

Thank you Tink2304, that is really cute. It's perfect too, for those who do not want a whole cake. The berries look delicious!:)
