Photoshop Pages

The border on the Food & Wine page is my favorite part as well Coree. As far as the muppets page, I guess it's not so much that I think it is cluttered, maybe a better word for it is unbalanced. And my OCDness really kicks in when I work on these pages... I'm learning to let it go!

Today's pages...

Breakfastosaurus:

Family Fun Day Parade (the picture quality is lacking a bit in a few of these photos but I still like it):

And the Canada Pavilion:

Love the new ones again, hollybelle! We loved breakfastosaurus, it was a great place to see the characters! And your canada page brings up fond memories as well. We have never done the family fun day parade, but it looks like you all had a great time participating! We might have to try that next trip! :)

I loved Breakfastosaurus as well, but the replacement over at Tusker House has the addition of Daisy Duck, which is nice because we don't think she gets enough love!

I absolutely recommend joining in the Family Fun Day parade. It's much more fun to participate than it is to watch! I think it is such a fun little way that Disney involves guests in the magic. The trolley cast members in the pictures were a blast. They made preparing (waiting) for the parade as much fun as being in it.

If you think there's too much going on in the MuppetVision page, trying sampling the green in the current background, then adding a layer of that green on top of the background. Then adjust the opacity (I'd go with 60, but that's me). I'd also consider changing the picture borders to yellow to compliment the green (and so the green isn't overwhelming).

Even if you don't change it, it's still great! I've really enjoyed seeing your work thus far, and I plan on ripping off some of your ideas for my own work.

The new pages are fantastic. You fit so many photos on your parade page, but it looks great the way they all go together.

I like the idea of doing the borders in yellow to break it up a bit so it's not overwhelming. I'll have to try that.

Also, please feel free to take any of my ideas and make them work for your pages. I've incorporated some of yours into my own. For example, I loved your idea of using animal skin as backgrounds. I used the elephant for the Tusker House:

And a few more...

We planned a last minute October trip and decided to dress up as Brer Brett and Brer Holly for MNSSHP.

Halloween 2006 (designed for a double page):

And one of my favorite pages, Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights:

More great pages! I'm so glad you posted your tusker house breakfast photos. We are doing that one this time since there is no more restaurantosaurus and I was wondering what the characters look like there. I love Daisy's outfit! So cute! I also loved your mnsshp pics! I can't wait to try this one as well!

While it might be an unpopular opinion, I really liked the changeover to a character breakfast at Tusker House. That being said, I wasn't one who was attached to the previous food served there. The food is about the same as Restaurantosaurus, with a few additions and the serving area definitely has more space. The morning we were there, the character interactions were really good. Plus this is another location where they do a song/dance that gets the kids involved.

MNSSHP is great, especially if you're family is into meeting the characters-they're everywhere!

I apparently have no idea how to electronic pages. I looked at Photoshop over the weekend and still can't figure out how to make it work for great pages like these.

Quess I'll have to stick to the old fashion type.

Also, do you just print these out and put them in a book or what?

Thanks for the compliments again everyone.

K&K, I completely understand your frustration with photoshop. It has so many little nuances. For example, it took me hours to figure out how to add a border because photoshop calls it a stroke. Keep with it though. I hardly know much of what this program can do, but if you have any questions about specific tools, please ask. I might be able to help. As far as printing, I haven't quite gotten that far yet. I'm leaning towards using Shutterfly to make a photobook ($30 for the first 20 pages and $1 each additional page). I'll let you know how it turns out.

Coree, the best thing about the "panoramic" photos is that they were actually regular pictures (not very well composed) and I just cut off the top and bottom of them both.

And I should probably go on the record as a character stalker myself! They are one of the reasons we love disney so much.

Hollybelle, I love your layouts. I really love the MNSSHP page. I was there that year too! I have never gotten a picture with Malifacent. That is my goal this year. I have photoshop elements 6 but only have used it for organizing so far. It is a little intimidating to get into the layouts but after seeing yours I may have to tackle it.

Danirae- Good luck finding Maleficent, our goal for the Halloween party was to find all the villians because they're so hard to find otherwise. Also I just wanted to say I really am enjoying your pages as well. You can just see the Disney excitement in them.

Here are some more pages for today.

Beaches and Cream (one of our favorite lunch spots and a must-do for every trip):

Pluto (Part I)...my favorite character:

And Future World:
