Pet Peeve parents who take their kids to the parks in pajamas

They are able to look and dress however they want.
And the reference is not to making an emergency room run to the hospital in the middle of the night.
It is to making the choice to go out in public - in this case WDW in pajamas - and yes, I would look down my nose at such people.
But you literally previously said anyone who goes out in public, therefore people who have to go to the hospital in their PJ's are going out public, no?

Leggings are fine, but they're not pants.

People can wear whatever they god damn like in public without being shamed for it.

Dance teacher for a living and I don’t own a single pair of “non dancewear” leggings. Literally only time I wear leggings is when I teach dance. Many of my dance teacher friends are the exact same way.

Firm believer of leggings are not pants.
I was until I realised how much comfier they are, especially when you're at work for 9 hours a day :)

I am assuming you have no children because waking up a little one to change clothes usually means a mean tempered wide awake crying child. I am guilty of letting both of my girls wear P.J.s to the park. You find some light Disney pajama's (in our case it was Stitch for both girls) and when they fall asleep its fine. Do I get annoyed when I see teens doing this (and I have seen it) yes but its a lifesaver if you have a child that can sleep anywhere (and does) and just decides that it bed time.

I just thought of something. Wait for it...:brb:

Cargo PJs! Who's with me??!! :D

That’s fine, because then I don’t have to see your mess. ;)

What about capri pants? :cautious: I wear these a lot. Yes, they aren't flattering at all, but dang they are comfortable to boot.

Yes!!! Capri pants are perfect for men! And the pockets are typically deeper than shorts.

People can wear whatever they god damn like in public without being shamed for it.

...unless they’re wearing cargo shorts.

That's sweet, but it ain't how the world works. You're free to dress how you want, that's true. I can't stop you. But likewise, you can't stop me from forming an opinion based on the way you choose to present yourself to the world. If you dress like a slob, it's likely indicative that you are a slob. This is well documented in the psychology and sociology academic research.

Fixed that for you.

So, just curious. Say you meet someone like me in person, I have tattoos and facial piercings, what would you think of me?

Well I wouldn't go that far as taking them out in their PJs.

But calling people who prefer to have a bath or shower in the morning "lazy slobs", especially children, is going a bit far. Most kids don't shower/bath twice a day in my experience.

You do not need to shower/bathe in the morning when you take one before you go to bed. All you did was sleep. We shower in the evening, especially at WDW. You are sweaty and nasty and have sunblock on you. No way would I crawl into bed that dirty.

Ummmm, we're on vacation. We have no cares, worries, stresses....... You may "just sleep", some of us may like to do other activities ... ;)

Also I really can't stand not showering in the morning. It's part of my routine.

That's what they said. I wanna know what YOU think.
That's not how this works. People form private opinions of others in their own heads. I'm overweight. If someone sees me, they'd probably think "that guy probably eats too much and doesn't really exercise." They'd be right. That doesn't mean it's appropriate to go up to someone and say "hey you big fat fatty... why are you so fat?"

Who showers twice a day? That's extraordinarily wasteful.

I do. I usually shower in the AM before work and then either after I workout or right before bed. In summer, I always shower twice when it is super hot. Personally, when I am at DW it is way too hot and humid for me not to. Plus, you should always shower before and after using the pool. Not saying all 3 showers in a day are full showers, but I do take 2-3 a day depending on the weather and where I am at.

I can't sleep dirty, I just can't. Especially after sweating all day and having the sun block on, I feel clammy and it ruins my night. I work in food and get hot and sweaty there so I am used to showering before I go to bed. It does keep your bed sheets much cleaner also.

Oh I would shower at night too after being in the parks. I was responding to your assertion you don't need to shower in the morning after "just sleeping"!
