Soooo, I've been wondering since page 3 (out of 18!!) because I haven't seen it answered....
The "Premium" Mickey Ice Cream Bars have jumped in price by a buck-and seventy five in change, but what if I just want the "regular" or "unleaded" Mickey bars?? (Sorry, I couldn't resist)

Story at DHS

That Columbus Day, Muetti and I didn't realize the change in the parking fee until we were about to park at Disney's Hollywood Studios. (We were also park-hopping to Epcot via boat later that day, just to continue our culinary expedition in the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.) While we arrived at the fee booths, we were about to dish out $12, but the Cast Member said it was $14, so we paid by credit.

Well that didn't deter us from going to WDW, but we have an economical Plan B (It's clandestine - I'm not telling you!) when it comes to parking. ;)

I just readjusted my budget for this month to accommodate. This is the first trip I will be driving - just one question, if I drive between parks or leave and come back do I need to pay again or is a pass good every where in the World all day?

They used to be $2.50 now they are $3.25. That's only $.75 more than it was, not $1.75 more.

If you pull up to the toll booth and show them a seasonal AP, they're still going to ask for parking. The tickets say seasonal right on them. How are you supposed to get around that fact?

Before we were full AP holders we just parked at the MK parking lot every time we went out there...takes alittle longer if you're heading to say AK or something because you have to get the bus from TTC.

But to get to the MK lot, you still have to go through the toll booth first.

You only have to pay once, then the pass is good for all four parks for that day.

So if I want to go to Disney just for one day....$84.14, parking $14.00...so one person to just get into park for ONE day is now $98.14....WOW. Then add food and water....ouch.

The idea is to have you come for a longer period of time (for cheaper ticket cost per day). And stay on site (for free parking). That is how they market WDW.

Or even better, buy annual passes of some degree. Of course, the real issue is how often and for how many days the average family can afford to visit WDW.....

Parking was $3 in 1989 at Disneyland - just found the stub, and I parked in the Robin Hood section, aisle 9.

WDW in 2001 was $6 ($5.66 + $0.34 Tax) Universal was $7.00

Now back to your regular programming. ;)
