I can't believe that DDCT"s last day is a week from today!! I love that parade!!!

I suppose it is "classic" considering its been basically the same parade with different music for almost 10 years.

And on the Spectro note. The music is wonderful, but the floats need updating, along with the parade in general. The most recent movie represented is Aladdin. And even then it's only the Genie.

I agree. I'll wait until I've seen the thing before I judge it. My 11yo daughter is sure to be thrilled though because she has a thang for Corbin Bleu. Maybe that's all Disney is after here anyway. :shrug:

That's probably for the best. :)

I remember hearing the song on Disney's Christmas Day parade. Ummm... I was not enthralled. I think the whole idea of "Celebrate You!" is kind of against my personal philosophy of life though. Not that I have anything against myself, but do we Americans really need any more encouragement to be self-centered? Anyhow, I'll be there this spring celebrating something or another. :ROFLOL:

I agree. Keep the main theme for the parade, but make the floats more advanced in terms of technology. Films represented is not an issue for me (but bringing back Tron and Return to Oz from older MSEP versions would be cool) as they are all classics that have stood the test of time and I'd rather not see Stitch or another character represented just to sell more plush.

I completely agree, but there's no Lion King or Beauty and the Beast in the parade. I could just imagine a huge Pride Rock float with Simba on it, or a Ballroom-like float with Beast and Belle dancing on it.

Wait, why don't we like TLK or BatB?? They're just as good as classics, if you ask me...

They are supposbily going to go and lead the parade and and be part of it but honestly it all could change.


But I think the new parade is going to catch on and people will be singing the songs in their head after it passes through.
