I was just about to FINALLY book a 2011 trip to Walt Disney World. My dear wife had been procrastinating for months as to should we do a Southern California or Florida trip, when to go, which resort, where to eat etc.
Now my DW* informs me that she will have to travel for most of the summer and we should plan to go to Walt Disney World in 2012 instead. I think she was aware for a while this travel might occur but didn’t want to mention it until it was confirmed.
Luckily our son is now a teen and is old enough to stay home this summer and fend for himself during the day; and more than likely sleep until noon. We could of course, go in the fall but we really don’t want to take the boy out of school. At his age it’s just not that easy to make up the work.
My son and I talked it over and he won’t go to Walt Disney World without Mom, the little jerk. I should sent him to his Grandmother’s for the summer, or as he calls it “Nana's boot camp” but I digress.
Everyone going in 2011 say hello to Mickey for me.
