It's only January, so if they were truly scrambling, they should be able to get this thing done in 4-5 months. Ideally it would have been ready before Soarin closed. Just doesn't seem like there's a big rush at all.

That would have made sense, and it seems it was feasible as well. For an attraction that was supposedly pushed by Iger, this project has been embarrassingly slow, even for Disney.

Isn't Summer at Disney any time after Mem Day Weekend? Their Spring is pretty much Feb 1 to Mem Day weekend.

ultimately this is a quick money grab for disney. they know that frozen fans will ride any thrown together piece of garbage that they come up with because it's frozen themed. to me this isn't the norway pavilion anymore because 95% of it is frozen.

I would really not classify this as an overlay. They completely gutted the interior of the ride sans track. That's not a mere overlay. But I agree it should have been completed in less than 2 years.

Agree its more than an overlay, but the time its taking to complete in a building that size is pretty embarrassing. Was there yesterday and all you could hear was tons of noise, power drilling and hammers from within, so they are def going at it. Aside from the track I dont think any of it will be recognizable.

Are the trying to open the ride at the same time as the M&G and restrooms? Maybe that is why the ride is taking so long.

Not much was done with that one. Most of the interior stayed the same. It was more adding or reprogramming existing show elements.
