Look we KNOW you are a CM, All attractions have a capacity and a intended latency, From the apparent effects Disney did not not do the proper studies of increasing latency on attractions even adding 1 second per person creates significant waits.

This sucks for you as a CM. But there are those of us who have been going for 20+ years and we know to a first approximation what wait times should be

There is something known as Queuing Theory and it covers everything from guests on a omnimover to IP packets traversing a network, FP- alters the queue processing and signficantly increases the latency when latency increases queues slow down.

The old FP system was an example of a priority queue where a small amount of traffic ie 'FP Guests' was prioritized over the standby lines which are a BE or 'Best Effort' queue,

Now with FP- implementation we have a strict priority queue in which standby is now what is referred to as a slopsucker queue in that FP- guests are prioritized over all other queue entries, Entries in the slopsucker queue may not be processed at all or will be processed with a long delay, In networking the TTL (TIME TO LIVE) expires at WDW people run out of patience and leave the (drop) queue entry.
But the expanded Fantasyland is eating more people than the past few years, right?

LaFou's Brew with Butterbeer froth would be brilliant. That passionfruit garbage just does not work.

Flavored foam in general creeps me out.

In fact now that I think about it, foam in general creeps me out. I don't like foam on my coffee either. Hm.

I didn't try the Brew when I was there... I had got a lemonade from the Big top shop by Dumbo that was so ungodly sweet it made me kinda ill and I was drinking water for the rest of the morning... Kinda sad I forgot about it, but nothing to cry over.

That's the segment where the Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy ghost is busting his way out of the dome. He's not a friendly ghost, either. His name is Bob. Seriously.

And what's with Disneyland naming animatronics and attraction characters, but they don't bother with that at WDW? Disneyland's Matterhorn has Harold the abominable snowman, Ghost Galaxy has Bob the cranky ghost, etc. But at WDW's Everest it's just "the Yeti" and he doesn't have a name. Why is that? Stuff like that adds to the fun and charm and the local culture of the place.

The ghost in Space Mountain's name is Delores, my Tomorrowland CM buddies tell me. Where did you hear it was Bob?

Don't forget Fluffy the Snake in Indy!:D

It is frozen apple juice with a few squirts of marshmellow coffee flavoring. It tastes nice amd comforting.

I call the Everest Yeti "George" to go with Disneyland's Harold.

I might want to call the Yeti "Clark" from my favorite page in "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish" (although not all of that fits the Yeti) but, I believe the Yeti does have a name. From a very old thread:

BTW we all refered to it as Betty the Yeti at cast opening and onward I don't know if it stuck around:shrug:, I know it did for as along as I was a cm bc thats even how they radioed everest was down. :snore: Though now I don't know if its the ride 100% or the yeti:ROFLOL: poor betty:rolleyes:. We still love you!:animwink: I even saw an interview with Rhodes and he called it Betty but call it what you want.

I knew the Indy snake was Fluffy. I could have sworn the Ghost Galaxy ghost was Bob. Someone told me his name was Bob a year or two ago? I like Dolores better. The animatronic/ride character villains at Disneyland are all guys, so they need a chick.

You sure it wasn't a possessed Doom Buggy? ;)

In my trip comments, I stated that we rode it 5 times and didn't feel it deserved the bashing it takes by some on these boards. The 'omnimover incident' notwithstanding, what are your thoughts on this attraction?

I can say I really like it and don't get the hate either. Except for that finale with the tiny cardboard cut out of Ursala. That was really bad. Wasn't there artwork where she was a huge AA and it was a pretty epic scene?

Other than that, I thought it was really good. One of my favorites of FL.

Agreed. That isn't even close to what right to work means. Right to work states essentially means that employees have very difficult times joining unions and businesses have far greater leeway over how they treat employees and what the state requires of them as an employer.

Right to work doesn't mean that everyone literally has a right to work for any business no matter how under qualified.

It simply means you can't be forced to join a union to be employed at a job.. and the unions can't prevent non-union members from working the job.

It prevents exclusive union<->employer agreements. Hence 'right to work' - aka everyone has a right to get a shot at the job, not just union members.

It is often blurred and confused with 'employment at will' - which is another concept which is where employment can be terminated by the employer or employee at will, for any reason except causes explicitly protected under the law (like race discrimination, etc).

I don't really have a lot to add, but I do have one thing. About 2 years ago I posted a picture here of the poor little poochy dog along the moving walkway at the exit of Space Mountain. We had much discussion on his missing foot and the amount of dust in the scene. Well, while at MNSSHP on 9/13/2013 I had to take a new pic to report on the sad little dogs condition. Now, apparently, the poor things neck is broken:

He is still missing a foot and there is even more dust.
Sad thing is, for $79 at toys r' us, you can buy a robo dog that does not look much different!

Holy C--- batman It's not only worse than I imagined, It's worse than I COULD HAVE IMAGINED. Like others have said the FastPass Minus line is the primary line now, Not the 'Priority' line it used to be, So it looks like the queuing model is assuming 3 attractions/guest per day, After which one is totally Sc-----d NICE. So this IS keyed to elimination of EMH and reducing staffing and maintenance needs.

Yes, we also noticed last week, it was not uncommon to see 20-25 minute waits for IASW. We finally went on when the lines went down to a walk on, but that was short lived, as it filled back in.

Welcome to the world of FastPass plus.
