As for the earlier complaint about interference with the fixture.. We were always told to plan for no more than 2-5% intensity loss due to the slight refocusing that happens through the domes. Granted this was while I was in college 10-ish years ago, but I'd guess it still holds true.

Hope they treated the ponds/lakes so all those brain eating amoeba don't get inhaled by the guests. Could be worse than Norovirus on the cruise lines

Maybe that is why they closed the backstage tour so early. They needed the tanks from Catastrophe Canyon for the RoL show

They certainly had the ability to move a lot of water in a short amount of time. Big pumps, big pipes and reservoirs on top of the set to hold the water

Yep. But no "tanks"

The reservoirs were built into the higher structure of the rock work and supports and were part of the structural integrity. No tanks that could just be removed.
