The same covers are used worldwide. They're specifically designed for this purpose. They keep moisture off the fixtures and allow heat to vent. They can't have a hole for the beam because they're moving lights. The globes would have to come off every fixture than be recovered anytime there is a potential weather threat. But being so close to a body of water would create issues long termwhat if they actually "open" during operation?
