I don't mind them, but I doubt they will go to the other resorts. Remember, these are going to an almost entirely new audience, so they don't have any connections to the old ones.

I actually think they look great. The faces look much more animated/energized (and the eyes are a little less dead). They also match the Mickey Mouse clubhouse characters that my niece is obsessed with!

Honestly, I find them much more similar to the animated characters. I find them a bit uncanny, and much less vacant. The heads seem much smaller and really fit on the body.

oh why they look really dark (maybe thats just the picture) but I just don't like the faces in general.

They look so much more like their "real" selves that we see in tv, print and merchandise. When has Minnie actually been seen wearing blue eyeshadow? I never noticed how wrong their eyes looked before. I think this is a great update that I didn't even realize was needed until it was done.

It is a big change and humans as a rule fear change. I think most people will come around, eventually.

The characters have global standardization. There are exceptions granted like Fairy Godmother in Asia but there's only a few

More likely that the Chinese paid for it so since it's done, why not port it over to the other resorts.

Bingo. They are wonderful, I love them, but I don't want the old ones to be gone forever. What if they had "classic" M&G every once in a while, like the rare characters?

At first I didn't like them.. I guess it's because I'm used to the current ones. But after reading what you wrote I TOTALLY agree! I actually like them a lot!
