New Country at Epcot?!?!?

I think another country at Epcot would be great... but so would adding something to a few of the current countries. I don't see much of a draw to a few of the locations in World Showcase and before people jump all over me, clearly this is just my opinion. I would like to see each country have some type of an attraction aside from just food. I think Norway did it right and that should be the model of future additions to World Showcase.

Of any of the coutries being named I think Peru could have a great impact on the landscape of WS and bring in a south american country. It would be nice to see a tie in with the emperor's new groove too, but thats just me.

I couldn't agree more, but all of the nations need an update, the films are all old and outdated, especially Norway's, i get a laugh out of the computers in the background every time i watch it. I love the World Showcase, but it seems to me that it should showcase the current nations (or at least within the last 5 years) not the 1980's nations. The shows are great, i would also love to see more performances.

Enhance the dining at the American Pavillion as well. Instead of just Fast Food (although I think the rest of the World beleives that is the dinning experience in the US.)
How about a fine dining option as well featuring examples of regional cuisine/wines and craft beers from all 50 states?

Norways would benefit from a few choice scenes reshooting. It was only made in 87-8. Canada tried to be hip with its 2007 update, but like Food Rocks found pop culture and familiar faces date fast. China, in it's 2003 update, did what Norway should and swapped dated scenes whe needed, but kept a lot of the original 1982 Wonders version.

Impressions de France could also work with selective reshoots, but since it is now 30 years old it looks the worse when looked at closely. Digital projection was welcome, but when you're projecting something over a quarter century old the issues are more than skin deep.

But 'Impressions de France' has some artistic merit. And as such, is much more timeless.

I think this is the answer to outdateing movies. Pop culture and hipness has an expiration date. And a pretty short one at that. By contrast, movies with an artistic idea, a style of their own, can become classic.

Who ever complains Casablanca is outdated?

yeah but you're talking about movies, not attractions...

i for one agree, a good majority of those shows in WS should be updated a tiny bit in order to stay current with what's going on in those countries.

and i want Australia, Nigeria, Greece and maybe Chile

Norways film could be preserved forever by only showing it when people actually sit down in the post-show area.

Yup, guilty as charged. We walk through. They should put it at the front and make you queue through with required stop.

Totally agree. I would love to see a gourmet burger table service spot.

How about Bbq.. its really one of the only truly American cuisines. I never thought of it until now but a BBQ restaurant featuring BBQ from all the major regions. It doesn't exactly represent all of America but you have styles from the south east, south west, Midwest. Plus its freaking tasty!

There are so many region specific offerings that could be more than enough to make up a menu: Philly Cheesesteaks, St. Louis Ribs, New England Clam Chowder, Maryland Crabcakes, etc.

Just look at a map and you can see that this is a prime location for either a bus entrance or access to a "new transportation system". Now reread all the clever comments above and see if it fits the oblique references.
"Well sir, there's nothing on Earth like a genuine, bona-fide, electrified, six-car monorail! "

It would be towards the correct direction of Downtown Disney.....
