New 40th Parade and Castle show

Gosh whats the deal!!!! So no 40th parade?? or this is just until fall 2011 when a new one would debut?

Since nobody's talking, I will.
They're only making some MINOR changes to CDCT. Specifically, the White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts will be joining the Tweedles as walking-around characters in front of the Peter Pan/Alice unit and Tiana & Prince Naveen are going to replace Baloo & King Louie on the castle float.

So, unless Drew or some other official says otherwise, we can still expect MK to get a new parade and castle show for the 40th.
P.S.: Stop bashing TDO! LEAVE THEM ALONE!

The Princess Romance Unit is going to be broken up yet again. It will just feature the Fairy Godmother and the first Cinderella section. The Ariel and Belle units will be taken out, similar to how the parade ran from 2004 up until 2006. All the other Royal Couples will be put on the God awful Castle Float. It will feature :
-Tiana and Naveen
- Belle and Beast
-Ariel and Eric
What's odd is that Aurora and Phillip won't be included with the other couples. Also, the princes may not be joining their ladies on the castle float. Goofy and Donald will move to the street in front of the Mickey and Minnie float a long with all the characters that currently walk in front of the finale castle float unit. Baloo and King Louie will be taken out of the parade, and the White Rabbit and Queen of Hearts will be added to the parade and placed in front of the Peter Pan/Alice unit. Unfortunately it seems that there are no plans to put the Villains Float back into the parade. These changes will apparently take place on August 9th.

WHY IS THIS LAME?????????
Number 1: MK still has a daytime parade. DL has to wait till who knows when in 2011 for a parade to come back. (I’m not talking about Christmas Fantasy. I mean parades during Jan-Nov)
Number 2: I LOVE CDCT!!!!!! The way CDCT looks now, there no place for Tiana, so if MK wants Tiana in there, they have to do it this way. The way I read Disney Villain’s post was we’re losing two characters but we’re gaining four. Now maybe we won’t lose as many characters if MK runs CDCT in the rain.
Any changes in normal characters, dancers? Who will be on the street in front of the castle float? Any chance of the ribbon dancer and/or show stop returning??? How much longer for Disney's Honorary Voluntears Cavalcade?
And that's what we get for WDW's 40th Anniversary parade???
A little early for that comment. If WDW follows WDW's Histroy, the 40th won't start untill OCT 2011

Ok, so it sounds like we're getting a slightly different parade and a new castle show... There better be more than that. The 25th was such a big deal. The 40th is at least as big, if not a bigger deal and should be celebrated with as least as much pizazz. How about some new attraction announcements (besides ST2)? Illuminations update? Fantasmic update? Removal of the hat?
Why nothing has been announced yet is starting to urk me. Hopefully before the end of the year, we will finally get all the details.

We're actual losing 5 characters and the show stops and gaining 2 characters. So, in total, we're losing 3 characters and show stops. Great.

Hopefully your right, I mean the 40th isnt until October 2011 afterall so we have a good year until a 40th parade were to debut. However knowing TDO, Im worried...They did amazing though with the 25th, but TDO is a different place these days.

And a correction: Drew said MK is going to be getting a completely new daytime parade, not a "slightly different" one.
